First Impressions Last a Lifetime

If you truly want to secure your place as a quality door manufacturer, look to HOPPE.  Because no part of a home works harder and better to showcase your product than it's working components and hardware.

WE design all our handle, cylinders, hinges and locking systems to be the best they can be.  With the finest design, most percise machining and the highest quality materials throughout so they endure endless use beautifully.

HOPPE has developed a patented profile spindle which for the first time features a method of fitting and securing the inside lever handle onto the door.  Due to the design of the spindle, the screw cannot come loose through vibration or the continuous opening and closing of the door.  In the event of the handle needing to be adjusted, this is easily accomplished by removing the screw with the allen wrench and relocating it.

All HOPPE backplates and handles (except for stainless steel) are interchangeable with each other.  To order the proper handle set, we will need the following information from you:

  • Style number (ex. M112PL/374N or Munchen)
  • Finish color (ex. brass or F77-R)
  • Door thickness 1.75" (45 mm) is standard.  The door thickness is important as it affects the screw, shaft and cylinder length
  • Position of eurogroove (centered or off-set)
  • What type of handle set do you need?

An active door set is the handle set used on the primary functioning door.  This set will always have two cylinder holes in the exterior and interior backplates to accept a full cylinder.

An inactive door set is the handle set used on the inactive panel.  This set will have a cylinder hole on the inside backplate only to accept a half cylinder that has a thumb turn.

A pair fixed dummy is a handle set usually "fixed" in place by either a fixing shaft or a fixing nut. They serve only as pull handles and do not operate.  They are usually used on inactive panels where a mortise flush bolt has been used.  These sets have no cylinder hole in either backplate.

A single fixed dummy is a single handle which is fixed in place just as the pair fixed dummy.  You need to specify either right or left handed for inside or outside of the door.

RH - is the standard abbreviation for right handed.

LH - is the standard abbreviation for left handed.
